A survey of behavioral psychology and animal learning that emphasizes classical and operant conditioning.

PSYC 490: Independent Study

For students conducting research with me in the QAB lab (Independent Study in Behavior Analysis) or working as a teaching assistant in one of my other classes (Independent Study in Teaching Behavioral Psychology).

PSYC 300: Experimental Psychology

A research course in experimental psychological research. I teach this class from a behavior analytic perspective. Topics  include interobserver agreement, graphing single-subject data, and research ethics in behavior analysis.

PSYC 491A: Research in Conditioning and Learning

An advanced research course in which students design and execute an empirical research study related to conditioning and learning. Includes data collection, quantitative data analysis, and presentation in an APA style research report.

PSYC 413: Advanced Conditioning and Learning

A discussion-based course. Provides a contemporary survey of theories of learning with an emphasis on animal models and applications to human behavior change.
